Business Story
Cuppa Juju also offer café food and cold drinks to their customers in addition to coffee, all food is supplied by caterers and wholesalers, meaning there is no need for prep onsite. The coffee blend used is the Big Dog blend by Wolff Coffee Roasters with tasting notes based on the monte biscuit which is well suited to the North Queensland palate.
The business operates out of a 61m2 shopfront on Valroy Street in Hay Point. This fantastic location has plenty of customer parking and is a part of a small retail strip in a residential area adjacent to the Port of Hay Point. Through the reputation developed in the year since opening Cuppa Juju have customers regularly travel from Mackay, Sarina and further afield to enjoy the food coffee and service this little café has to offer.
Growth opportunities lie in extended and weekend trading hours along with catering for the local ports and associated services. This progression is the natural next step that will increase revenue and brand recognition.
After the business becomes yours, the current owner will provide a generous period of tuition and introduction to the regular customers, that will ensure a seamless transition to your new lifestyle. During this time, you will be trained in day to day running of the business along with any likely challenges, so when it is time to fly solo, you can do so with confidence.
Although the business has only been open for a little over a year, it has built a great reputation, loyal following and developed happy, competent staff. Now, they are ready to pass this opportunity onto the right buyer. If this profitable opportunity interests you, give us a call today!

Phil started his working career in purchasing with large and multi-national companies in Sydney.
A family relocation to Bowen in 1974 was the catalyst to owning his own business.
Phil has been in various businesses from Pest Control to Delicatessen/Takeaway and has for the last 39 years built a wholesale business that has served Bowen, Whitsundays, Mackay and the Coalfields, from 1 truck and himself to 6 trucks and 15 employees.
This has given Phil a very solid knowledge of the area from Bowen to Rockhampton and what it takes to thrive in business there.
Phil has a strong knowledge of business and business practices built through the process of growing his own business as well as time spent on State Franchise Council and dealing with the many changing government policies in those 39 years.
The process of selling his own business has shown Phil the real need for a locally based business broker, easily contacted and heavily focused on the Central Queensland area, which has led to his involvement in CQ Business Brokers.
