Business Story
Whitsunday Plumbing stick to what they know best and provide their specialised services to not stretch themselves too thin. Offering a comprehensive range of services from roof and gutter maintenance to leak detection and through to commercial work, this business is well equipped to deal with almost any plumbing need.
The business operates out of a 200m2 space on Myer Lasky Drive in Cannonvale and is in the town’s industrial zone. The shed is one of five commercial sheds in an industrial complex and has fantastic street exposure with direct road access. The shed is constructed from solid tilt-up concrete with a new roof, beams, and flashings. Attached to the shed is a modern air-conditioned office space on a mezzanine floor. This shed space gives them a base of operations and allows easy access to the main arterial road for travel to and from job sites.
With this area constantly being under development and growing, as it is developed, your business will also grow as a result. As it stands, the owners employ a plumber and a sub-contractor allowing you to be able to perform all the jobs coming in as the area develops.
After the business becomes yours, the current owner will give a generous period of tuition that will run you through all you need to be accustomed to running your own business. The tuition will allow you to keep the administration side of things under control and allow you to successfully run the business to a great standard.
The owners of the business have decided it is time to retire after establishing the business 25 years ago. After running the business for all these years and building an awesome reputation for its name they have come to the reluctant decision to sell and enjoy some time off. If this opportunity interests you, give us a call today!

Phil started his working career in purchasing with large and multi-national companies in Sydney.
A family relocation to Bowen in 1974 was the catalyst to owning his own business.
Phil has been in various businesses from Pest Control to Delicatessen/Takeaway and has for the last 39 years built a wholesale business that has served Bowen, Whitsundays, Mackay and the Coalfields, from 1 truck and himself to 6 trucks and 15 employees.
This has given Phil a very solid knowledge of the area from Bowen to Rockhampton and what it takes to thrive in business there.
Phil has a strong knowledge of business and business practices built through the process of growing his own business as well as time spent on State Franchise Council and dealing with the many changing government policies in those 39 years.
The process of selling his own business has shown Phil the real need for a locally based business broker, easily contacted and heavily focused on the Central Queensland area, which has led to his involvement in CQ Business Brokers.
